About Me

“Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference.” ~Winston Churchill

I am an aspiring writer who has an escalating passion for tackling meaningful stories and love finding the time to feature veterans on the side. I am self-motivated and have the mind of an entrepreneur which helps me in molding my leadership skills.

Overall it is important to note that in high school I had no intention of going to college, however by obtaining my B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in Political Science from Longwood University, I found my true calling in life.

Longwood, a rather small university, is rich in resources and overflowing with positive influences. I was able to experience every aspect of journalism possible, including writing for the towns local newspaper, creating my own blog and documentary "A Fading Fraternity" and by leading a wonderful 28-member staff on the student-run newspaper, The Rotunda.

I have been blessed with rich experience & it had helped me to aspire to become a better writer every single day. I have taken the opportunity to cover stories that have been controversial and heart-warming alike, which has brought on many life lessons not easily forgotten.

To this day, I am extending my coverage on WWII veterans through my blog /documentary, "A Fading Fraternity." I have a passion beyond compare for our military but I have a special soft spot for WWII veterans because of my Grandaddy Phillip, who was an Army paratrooper in the respected 82nd Airborne during The Battle of the Bulge. Because of him, my efforts will not cease until I can find no one else.
